Rachel Hughes - Associate Attorney

Rachel Hughes began her legal career in a firm in her hometown of Kings Mountain, North Carolina prior to relocating to Brevard County in 2012. She is a member of the Florida Bar and North Carolina State Bar. Rachel is a 2010 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. As a law student, Rachel served as Treasurer of Next Generation West Virginia from April 2008 until graduation in May 2010. During the summers of 2008 and 2009, Rachel clerked for local Morgantown, West Virginia firms, and interned for EQT Corporation respectively.

In 2007, Rachel graduated with distinction from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During the 2006 fall semester, Rachel participated in an international exchange program studying various business courses at Università Bocconi in Milan, Italy. She enjoyed the opportunity to immerse herself within a new culture while expanding her studies and traveling throughout Europe with other business students. While a student at UNC Chapel Hill, Rachel served as Treasurer of Carolina Troop Supporters from January 2005 until graduation. She was also a Professional Division Member of the Future Business Leaders of America throughout her entire undergraduate career. Rachel worked as a House of Representatives intern in the North Carolina General Assembly during the summers of 2004, 2005, and 2006.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad, family and friends, partaking in various outdoor activities and sports, and supporting the UNC Tar Heels and WVU Mountaineers.
