Landon Christian Morley is a proud Brevard County native with deep roots in the community he serves. A graduate of Cocoa High School, Landon began his academic journey in his hometown, earning his Associate of Arts degree from Eastern Florida State College. He then attended the University of Central Florida, where he majored in Psychology. During his time at UCF, Landon engaged in numerous research projects, even directing his own, which earned him a prestigious medal from UCF’s Burnett Honors College. Graduating as an honors scholar and making the President’s Honor Roll, he developed a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the complexities of the human experience. Additionally, as president of the regional chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, Landon demonstrated leadership and a commitment to academic excellence, further strengthening his foundation for a career in law.
Landon gained experience at Rock Paper Simple, a marketing agency, where he managed social media accounts, crafted content to drive web traffic, and guided clients in defining their goals and target audiences. This role honed his attention to detail, communication, and strategic thinking—skills that now strengthen his ability to craft persuasive legal arguments and advocate effectively for his clients.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Landon dedicated himself to public service with the City of Cocoa, where he worked closely with the community. This role deepened his understanding of the transformative power of service and the lasting impact that compassion and support can have on individuals and neighborhoods. Inspired to make a broader impact, he pursued his Juris Doctor at Barry University School of Law.
During law school, Landon further honed his legal skills through an internship with the Brevard and Seminole Public Defender’s Office, 18th Judicial Circuit. There, he assisted with case preparation, drafted motions, conducted legal research, and engaged in client consultations at the Brevard County Jail. These experiences provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the justice system and reinforced his passion for advocating on behalf of others.
Landon’s legal career began in earnest at the Law Office of David Baker, where he first served as a legal assistant before advancing to his current role as an attorney. As the leader of the firm’s civil litigation department, he manages a diverse caseload that includes corporate litigation, personal injury, contract disputes, mortgage defense, probate, evictions, foreclosures, wills, trusts, and estates. Landon’s ability to represent clients in court and mediation, combined with his strong communication skills and keen understanding of client needs, has made him a formidable advocate. His proficiency in drafting complex legal documents and conducting detailed case analysis further strengthens his reputation as a determined and skilled attorney focused on achieving successful outcomes.
Outside of his legal practice, Landon has a passion for comedy, thriving on clever banter and quick-witted exchanges with friends and coworkers. He’s also a nature enthusiast with a love for plants, finding peace and inspiration in the natural world. A dedicated weightlifter and lifelong lover of music, Landon plays guitar, drums, and vocals, balancing his creative and physical pursuits. Above all, his large and close-knit family remains his greatest source of pride and motivation.
